CORD STUB FALLS OFF

The quarter inch of umbilical cord finally fell off Wyatt yesterday. We diligently swabbed it with alcohol during every diaper change. Now, he can take ordinary immersion baths.

CHURCH

Wyatt had his first experience in church yesterday. We went to first Baptist Church in Nixa Missouri. Great Grandpa Bailey has been a member there since 1993. We didn't take Wyatt to church for any ceremony or ritual. We primarily went there to spend time with family and introduce our son to friends. The church was celebrating their 100th anniversary. Grandma Janice and Uncle Mark decided to attend also. We enjoyed a free catered lunch.

FIRST RESTAURANT

We went to Waffle Wouse today. It was the one north of I-44, on Glenstone Avenue, in Springfield Missouri. Of course , 3-day-old Wyatt didn't eat anything. His mama has all the sustenance he needs. THAT kind of "eating" is reserved for a private place.
